At Mullins & Henry in Lucan, we are all happy to attend to our customers' optical needs from your first step in the practice.
It doesn’t matter if you require an appointment or need an adjustment to your existing frames, we are here to help by providing quality eye examinations and assisting you to choose your perfect frames and lenses.
MEET THE TEAM
All of our Optometrists are experienced, qualified eye care professionals (registered with the Optician Board) that are trained to assess your vision and the health of your eyes. They are able to prescribe glasses and contact lenses.
As well as testing your vision, during your eye examination they will also check for signs of eye diseases, and refer you accordingly to the appropriate follow-up care.
Michael Mullins
Michael is our resident Optometrist. He graduated from the Dublin Institute of Technology in 1981 and became a fellow of the Association of Optometrists. He established Mullins & Henry alongside his colleague Derek Henry in 1982. Michael has over 40 years of experience in optics and prides himself on his patient care.
Derek Henry
Derek graduated from the Dublin Institute of Technology in 1981 and became a fellow of the Association of Optometrists. He established Mullins & Henry alongside his colleague Michael Mullins in 1982. They opened the Lucan practice together in 1983. Derek has over 40 years' experience in optics and his motto has always been 'the patients always comes first'.
Joanne
As a skilled dispensing optician, Joanne loves helping patients find eyewear that not only looks great but feels comfortable too. Her expert knowledge and friendly manner makes her a valued member of our team and a favourite among patients.
Hershel
Hershel is one of our Optical Assistants who is always ready to help patients feel welcome and well cared for. With a calm and approachable manner, he ensures every visit runs smoothly and every patient leaves with a smile.
Sinead
As an Optical Assistant, Sinead is known for her friendly manner and dedication to helping patients enjoy a smooth, positive experience from start to finish.
